Stacie spent the first decade of her career in the fast-paced fashion industry in Manhattan. As a merchandiser, she traveled to fashion centers all over the world including Milan, St. Tropez, Paris and Los Angeles. Her design talent landed her work on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) twice. Stacie needed a change of pace and moved to London where she studied interior design. After moving to Charlotte she apprenticed under a pre-eminent Myers Park designer. Stacie began her own company, Metropolitan Design Concepts Inc., after two years of working for a large design firm. Stacie’s varied talents allow her to help any client achieve their designing needs, from simply rearranging to major renovations. Stacie’s strength is in her open communication with her clients. After an initial on-site consultation, she will propose a design solution for your space. Stacie is dedicated to providing practical solutions while encouraging a stress-free collaboration between the client, architect, builder and designer. Helping her clients realize their vision has resulted in well-executed, comfortable and livable spaces.
