“Building a house is stressful and exciting, but building one 6 hours away is even more stressful, so I asked a friend and she recommended Stacie Salisbury from Metropolitan Design Concepts as my go to designer in Charlotte, NC where we presently live. Stacie returned my call promptly, and we discussed my needs. We met in a few days at the tile location of my choice. Her enthusiasm and passion for design was obvious as she examined my floor plan and the color palates I desired. Stacie began by locating samples of the exterior we had previously chosen and guided me in selecting the paints, pavers, and other materials that complemented each other. She created a spread sheet of all selections that must be made in a new build, lead conference calls with the project manager and designer in GA and suggested several design changes in the floor plan itself- which made it more symmetrically pleasing to the flow of the interior of the house. Next, we worked with several tile companies to create the design of the kitchen and bathrooms while staying within reason of my budget. I now feel confident to continue the design plan with the builder's designer thanks to Stacie!”
